This is a really bad one
I’ve learned about CJD (Creutzfeld-Jacob’s Disease) through the X-Files, one of the best episodes is about a town of cannibals. Amazingly this episode was aired on danish TV the night before the british authorities issued their warning about CJD!!!
This is 7 years or so ago now – but I actually had Internet access – in those pre-google days I prefered lycos – and I found an article from the CDC that warned about CJD being transmittable through blood and that this was considered a big risk…Lo and behold…Last week I read in a Danish newspaper – Urban but probably based on a news feed from Reuters – that this was now feared to be true, but it was presented as brand new research…THIS IS SUCH A LIE – CDC has known this to be a risk for 10 years or so – and ANYBODY can prove it by using a search engine and the Internet.
If this can be proved to be true there should be hell to pay for the politicians that ignored this. I hope that the ones responsible for ignoring this problem will do serious time!
