As mentioned in a previous post, Last.fm is a really clever, somewhat Big Brotherish, idea, where the music you listen to, either using your media player or the Last.fm Player, is tracked in order to make recommendations, generate personal radio stations etc.
The Last.fm Player is a bit like having an online version of the iPod shuffle.
Last, but not least, Last.fm has a rich WebService API. An example of an application of the API is the list of the most recently played songs. I’m using the WordPress plug-in WP Audioscrobbler.
